The midfielder has endured a frustrating run, first suffering a shoulder injury against Leeds and re-aggravating it in the win over Nottingham Forest.
However, it is a knee injury sustained in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham in early October that has kept him sidelined.
Odegaard suffered an MCL injury in his left knee following a collision with Crysencio Summerville, making history as the first player to be substituted before half-time in three consecutive Premier League matches.
He isn’t expected back until after the November international break, using innovative methods to aid his comeback.
"It’s going well and I’m progressing a lot," Odegaard said.
"I’ve started moving around more and I’ve been running on the anti-gravity machine this week. It’s hard work, but nice to feel that progression – it gives you more motivation."
