Newcastle due bumper payoff from FIFA for Wissa injury

The summer arrival from Brentford was injured in action with DR Congo just days after signing.

He scored twice before injuring his knee in the second DR Congo game against Senegal.

TalkSPORT says FIFA are now set to pay £6.5m to Newcastle for Wissa's wages being paid while he recovers from the knee injury.

Wissa is out for eight weeks  due to the setback.
