According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle now have their eyes on a move for either Aston Villa ace Ollie Watkins or Nicolas Jackson with the future of Alexander Isak up in the air.
The report adds that the club haven’t given up on their pursuit of Brentford’s Yoane Wissa with Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz also shortlisted.
Isak is pushing for a move to Premier League champions Liverpool and is currently sitting out Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia with a thigh injury.
