Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes has reportedly agreed personal terms with Arsenal, although Eddie Howe's side are determined to keep him.

Newcastle have already lost two keep players in Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali for a combined £180 million this summer.

It’s now been widely reported that captain Guimaraes is also looking to leave the club following a bid from reigning Premier League champions Arsenal.

According to L’Equipe, the 28-year-old has already agreed to a five-year deal with the North London club ahead of a potential switch.

It’s understood that Newcastle remain determined to keep Guimaraes, however, having already turned down a £65 million’s bid.
