Rogers has now been rewarded for his fine form, being named PFA Young Player of the Year award at the Manchester Opera House on Tuesday evening.

The England international beat out some big names to win the award, with Lewis-Skelly, Dean Huijsen, Delap, Ethan Nwaneri and Kerkez all nominated.

Villa and Emery will doubtless be hoping Rogers can continue as they seek to go one better this season and qualify for the Champions League.
