Manchester United may miss out on £10m in revenue due to the 2026 World Cup as the club begins its summer planning.

According to a reported from the Daily Mail, Man United were hoping to embark on another lengthy pre-season trip like the one they made this summer.

Amorim’s side travelled to Malaysia and Hong Kong before heading to the United States to play in the Premier League Summer Series alongside Everton, Bournemouth, and West Ham.

That trip earned United cool £10 million, helping the club following their failure to qualify for European football last season.

Those plans have been thrown into disarray, however, with the World Cup leaving little time for the club to travel, train, and recover adequately.

The Premier League concludes on May 24, just 18 days before the greatest tournament in football kicks-off on June 11th.
