Man Utd make contact with Forest for Anderson

United management are seeking to add a new midfielder in January and Anderson tops their shortlist.

The Athletic's David Ornstein has told NBC Sports that United have expressed interest in Anderson with Forest.

The England international is now United's priority target in terms of midfield options.

For their part, Forest are reluctant to part with Anderson in January and are insisting he won't leave for less than £100m.
