The 23-year-old looks set to leave Nottingham Forest for a potential record fee this summer following an impressive 2025-26.
It’s been widely reported that Forest are looking for a fee in excess of the £105 million Arsenal paid West Ham for Declan Rice in order to get a deal done.
Forest have already rejected an offer of around £80 million from Man City, but Enzo Maresca’s future club are expected to return.
According to The Guardian, Man United are still in for Anderson and think they are capable of beating City to his signature.
Jason Wilcox, United’s director of football, is also monitoring Mateus Fernandes as they continue to plot their midfield overhaul, however.
