While the Portugal international is a cheaper alternative to Anderson, it’s been widely reported that West Ham have set their asking price at £80 million.
According to Football Insider, Man United will make an initial offer of £70 million, and expect West Ham to soften their stance.
It’s understood that the now relegated side have to earn around £150 million from player sales this summer, with several others looking to leave.
