He later remarked: “No I don’t feel pressure.
“I just want to play with my teammates, give pleasure, give good passes for him (Marc Guéhi), Erling (Haaland) and all the players because we need goals.
“We need to not accept any goals too and today he (Guehi) did a big job for us. We are very happy.”
On creating the chance for Guehi to score, Cherki explained: “When I gave the pass for him, I didn’t know if he will score. But I’m very happy for him and the team.
“It was not about my pass, it’s him when he controlled the ball, he touched the ball very nice. I’m very happy for him.
“Now we can go and play against Arsenal, it’s a big game for us.”
