The Ecuador defender and Argentina midfielder squared up to one another after Hincapie’s heavy challenge on Real Madrid star Franco Mastantuono. Mac Allister backed his teammate and rushed over to the Arsenal defender.
Both players were seen in a furious row at the end of the match as passion boiled over into anger as Mac Allister pushed the Ecuadorian defender before each exchanged words whilst teammates separated them.
Now, the Liverpool star has taken to Instagram and posted an edit of him pushing the Arsenal star with joking caption that read:
"YOU ARE NOT LIKE THAT!"
Both nations have qualified so it does not have too much of an impact their upcoming international fixtures but it does fuel a rivalry which is already present between Liverpool and The Gunners.
Having been announced by Arsenal on deadline day, Hincapie narrowly missed the chance to ignite his rivalry with Mac Allister in their 1-0 loss before the international break. However, as the two fight it out for the title you can be sure that the pair will face each other again in another brutal affair.
