Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior and current Strasbourg boss Gary O'Neil are reportedly among the candidates to replace Kieran McKenna at Ipswich.

McKenna, 40, made the shock decision to step down from his position at Ipswich and take a break from football to spend time with family.

So, the newly promoted club are now looking for a new manager as they seek to avoid relegation from the Premier League next season.

According to journalist Alex Crook, former Chelsea manager Rosenior and Strasbourg’s O’Neil are both candidates to take over.

Rosenior lasted just 107 days in charge at Chelsea and was finally sacked after just one win, against Port Vale, in his last eight games with the club.

O’Neil is also said to be unhappy at Strasbourg, the second BlueCo club, after they also missed out on European qualification.
