Leeds have already added seven new signings to their squad and are pushing to make Paixao, 25, their eighth.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, they’ve made a £28 million offer for the Feyenoord winger after their first bid was turned down.
They don’t have a free run at the Brazilian, however, with Ligue 1 giants Marseille also interested in his services.
