Isak missing from Newcastle squad flight to Singapore

With the Sweden striker attracting a serious approach from Liverpool, Isak has not flown out with the rest of the squad to Singapore, says The Sun.

Newcastle have stated Isak has missed the flight due to a "minor thigh injury".

Toon chiefs have insisted Isak isn't for sale, even amid suggestions Liverpool would be willing to pay £120m for his transfer.

Isak has three years remaining on his contract at St James' Park and his camp have been pushing to discuss a major pay-rise to recognise his growing status in the game.

He is currently on £130,000-a-week with the player's agents now wanting £300,000-a-week to re-sign.
