Havertz set new comeback date after Arsenal training blow

Havertz has been battling to recover from a knee injury suffered in the first game of the season against Manchester United. He underwent minor surgery to fix the complaint.

The Daily Mail says Havertz was a week away from a playing return in late November before suffering a setback in training.

The Germany international is now not expected to be available until mid-January.

There is hope Havertz can make the January 11, FA Cup third round tie with Portsmouth.
