Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has opened the door to signing a new contract.

Guardiola's current deal runs to 2027 and after some doubts last season, the Catalan is now talking up the prospect of extending his stay even longer.

He said on the Men in Blazers podcast: "I have two years left on my contract, maybe I'll extend it for another two.

"I don't know when I'll stop: this year, in two years, or in four. For now, I'm fine, I feel motivated.

Guardiola also praised the atmosphere at the club: "If you stay in one place for ten years, it's because you feel at home. I can't ask for more; football has been very generous to me."
