Pep Guardiola could be forced into a ruthless summer clear-out, with Man City reportedly set to sell five players to avoid sanctions from both the Premier League and UEFA.

The legendary Spaniard has voiced his concerns over having a bloated squad going into the 2025-26 season and currently has as first-team contingent of 32 players.

According to reports by The Mirror, City must act fast and get five players out of the door in order to meet UEFA squad regulations.

Premier League rules are a little looser, with their regulations regarding homegrown players and U21s meaning only one player would have to be sold.

Jack Grealish, James McAtee, Kalvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega, have all reportedly been told to find new clubs.

Grealish is said to be in advanced talks over a loan more to Everton, who are keen to make a marque signing as they prepare for life in their new stadium.
