Forest are seeking to earn back-to-back league victories at Anfield for the first time since 1963 after their 1-0 win over the Reds last season. One point for Dyche's side could be enough to lift them out of the relegation zone as they aim to continue their unbeaten streak.
Liverpool are not suddenly a bad side
Dyche firstly spoke on Liverpool who are struggling so far this season down in 8th place as they try to restart their title hopes.
"Overall, Arne Slot came in and they had a magnificent season last season.
"They've made adjustments, they've spent money and in a way it's refreshing to show that it's not as simple as you spend money and it just works.
"But be assured, don't think they're suddenly bad players. They're a good outfit, they've got had a bit of a tough spell. An indifferent spell. They beat Real Madrid and everyone's buzzing, then lose to Man City and it flattens it out again. That can happen."
Anderson has been impressive
Next, questions turned to midfielder Elliot Anderson, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United over recent weeks.
"He's a good player, he's got everything in front of him.
"I've spoken to him about the nuts and bolts of his performances but not at any length. Less is more I think, for him. He's naturally going about his business the right way.
"Over-coaching someone is something you've got to be careful with, we're allowing him to go and play, and just give him some guidance and pointers.
"I'm enjoying what he's about, enjoying his performances. He's got a little edge to him in training. He’s a very good player and a good person as well."
Injury updates
Dyche also opened up on team news, revealing injury updates on a number of key players, including striker Chris Wood.
"Callum Hudson-Odoi is making good progress, he's been on the grass this week so is certainly in consideration to make the squad (for Saturday).
"Chris Wood is getting rescanned, but it's good news so far. There is nothing untoward about that.
“Douglas Luiz is making progress, but he's going to be a matter of time, it's not instant. Dilane Bakwa making progress but not training, he's on the grass but not with us.
"Ola Aina is very similar, and Oleksandr Zinchenko is making progress with the sports science team and physios.”
Forest's momentum may be affected
Finally, he was asked about the international break stopping momentum from the win over Leeds United before the break, which could hurt Forest's confidence heading into the clash..
"You don't know until the whistle blows.
"Probably a break was needed in terms of giving us time with the players - although many go away. The injuries, it's a period without games so at least they're not missing games while they recover.
"So good in that sense. We're building a feeling among the group that we feel is positive.
"Players have come back mostly unharmed from the internationals so that's good as well."
