Anton Stach’s superb first-half free-kick for Leeds was cancelled out by Tammy Abraham’s late goal for Villa.
“You travel away as a newly promoted side here against one of the title contenders, one of the best teams in this country and also in Europe, and you are slightly disappointed with just one point,” said Farke afterwards.
“I have to say my warriors today deserve all the praise and lots of compliments, it's a really good point for us and another top away performance.
“We came so close really to win all three, but after a moment of disappointment, you have to say it's another really good point, also I think well deserved point.”
Farke also said: “He is a key player for us, so he has a perfect balance out of defensive skills, out of physical skills, of giving us the defensive edge, but also to inspire our offensive game.
“And in addition to that, he has also unbelievable quality in taking set pieces, so in free kicks, corner kicks. And of course, it was an unbelievable goal out of this distance and just a few steps.”
