The Sun says American group will table their bid, despite Tottenham's owners releasing a statement to the Stock Exchange on Friday insisting they weren't entertaining offers to sell.
It's claimed Earick has been told the door is open for negotiations and an opening offer will be made in the coming days.
The bid will involve £3.3bn up front with the consortium committing a further £1.2bn for team strengthening.
Tottenham's statement also referred to Stock Exchange takeover rules that require Earick's group to “announce a firm intention to make an offer or announce it does not intend to make an offer” by 5pm on October 24.
Earick responded by posting a picture of the home dressing room at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a countdown clock relating to that deadline.
It's suggested Earick's group want a deal settled as soon as possible so they can act in the January market.
