Chelsea youngster Estevao Willian has been left out of Brazil's provisional squad after suffering a hamstring injury.

The 19-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during the early stages of the fixture with Manchester United and was seen limping off the pitch in what is a season ending injury.

Despite such a tear, reports state the teenager will not undergo surgery on the hamstring injury as this would rule out any chance of representing Brazil at the World Cup.

The starlet will therefore miss the FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon as well as the rest of the campaign as he rests ahead of this summer where his spot in the Brazil side is under question.

Now, as per talkSPORT and ESPN, Estevao is set to be left out of the preliminary squad as Neymar takes his place in the side set to be announced on May 18th at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro.

The 55-man player list submitted to FIFA on Monday will be trimmed down into a final tournament squad, which must contain between 23 and 26 players.

Estevao, despite only turning 19 last month, he has already made 119 club appearances and represented Brazil on 11 occasions.

These games have caught up with the youngster who, if he missed out on the squad announcement next week, is likely to miss out on the World Cup side heading to North America.
