Liverpool can seal a top-five finish in the Premier League table when they host Chelsea in Saturday's early kickoff at Anfield as they chase down Champions League football.
Liverpool to pick up easy win?
The Reds have had a tough season but could finish with a flourish as they come up against an injury ridden Chelsea squad.
Speaking to football betting site BetVictor, Redknapp believes Liverpool will cruise to an easy win, despite losing the reverse fixture.
Liverpool 3-1 Chelsea
“A big game to start us off this weekend. Liverpool had decent moments at Old Trafford last week, but they’ve just been nowhere near good enough in the big games this season. It’s going to be an interesting summer at Anfield, I expect a lot of ins and outs.
“Chelsea just confuse me. I couldn’t believe what I was watching against what was essentially Forest’s reserves. Those fans aren’t happy and I don’t blame them one bit.
“It’s got to be Liverpool.”
United to drop points?
United will return to the Champions League next season after securing a 3-2 victory over rivals Liverpool last weekend.
Sunderland have failed to win any of their last three Premier League games and have lost four of their last five home games. Redknapp did not predict an easy win for United however as he sees an upset inbound.
Sunderland 1-1 Man Utd
“Sunderland have had such a fantastic first season back. In fact, they’ve probably not quite got the credit they deserve.
“What a win that was for Man United last week and for Michael Carrick. This job could be his on a long-term basis, who knows!
“Sunderland, for the most part, have been very hard to beat at home this season. 1-1.”
Bruno Fernandes is just one assist away from the all-time record of 20 for a single Premier League season, meaning the midfielder will not hold back against the Black Cats in what will be an intense clash between the two sides.
