The new boys reportedly cost around a combined £45 million, leaving the likes of Wilson with little chance of game time between now and the end of the season.
According to The Athletic, the 33-year-old is now in talks with West Ham to have his deal terminated just five months after joining.
Wilson put pen to paper on a heavily incentivised one-year deal following his release from Newcastle and has scored four goals in his 18 games across all competitions.
