Sky Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg is reporting Brighton have been watching Atubolu this season.
The 23 year-old has a deal with Freiburg to 2027.
Along with this U21 caps, Atubolu has also been called up to Julian Nagelsmann's senior Germany squad this season.
