According to TeamTalk, Aston Villa are hoping to take advantage of the situation and sign star man Gibbs-White.
The 26-year-old came close to joining Tottenham last summer but was ultimately persuaded to remain at Forest.
Now, Gibbs-White is increasingly likely to leave and could be available for around £65 million.
