Roma chief Frederic Massara has confirmed the club are no longer interested in the winger, citing his ‘lack of motivation’ to make the move.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Roma have now turned their attention to Chelsea youngster Tyrique George as their new left-wing option.
George is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in the remaining few days in the transfer window either on loan or permanently in pursuit of regular football.
