Arsenal turn down ambitious West Ham loan offer for Ethan Nwaneri

The 18-year-old signed a new five-year contract last year but has only managed to make four starts across all competitions so far this season.

According to Football.London, West Ham are one of several Premier League sides to have enquired about Nwaneri’s availability.

It’s understood that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are looking to sign a replacement for Lucas Paqueta, who looks set to join Flamengo.

Arsenal were quick to turn them off Nwaneri, however, with neither the club nor the player’s camp giving them any sign the forward can leave.
