Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League with a battling 1-0 win over Brighton this week after Manchester City dropped points to Nottingham Forest.
Hurzeler complained about the Gunners wasting time-wasting before, during and after the game as the Brighton boss expressed his frustrations about Mikel Arteta’s tactics.
Just before half-time, Arsenal won a throw-in right in front of the Brighton technical area and Hurzeler got in the face of Hincapie.
The Standard report that he handed Hincapie a ball and reportedly told him to “f****** play football”.
In response, Hincapie turned around smiling and shushed the Brighton manager who fumed in his press conference after the narrow loss.
"I will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way," he said.
"I love the effort from my boys, I loved how they played football. I think there was only one team who tried to play football today and therefore I'm proud of how they did it."
Arsenal remain at the top of the table with 67 points from 30 matches, seven points ahead of Manchester City. The loss for Brighton leaves them in 13th place with 37 points far from the European spots.
