Arsenal eclipsed their own Premier League record after scoring from another set-piece during Monday’s clash against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz gave the Gunners a first-half lead after powering home a well-delivered corner from Bukayo Saka. The goal continued Arsenal’s remarkable efficiency from dead-ball situations under Mikel Arteta this season.

According to Opta statistics, Arsenal have now scored from a set piece in 22 different Premier League matches during the current campaign, surpassing their previous club record of 21 games set in the 2023-24 season.

The latest achievement further highlights the club’s growing reputation as one of the most dangerous teams in England from corners and free-kicks.

Their delivery from set-piece situations have become a major weapon in their attacking play and an important factor in their push for domestic success.
