The current Premier League holders suffered a late 2-1 defeat to rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Moises Caicedo opened the scoring early on before Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo scored the equaliser shortly after the break.
Chelsea wonderkid Estevao scored in the 95th minute to then secure all three points for the home side.
Just as things seemingly couldn’t get much worse for Liverpool, Slot has confirmed that centre-back Konate has picked up a slight knock.
The 26-year-old was replaced by Curtis Jones in the 56th minute, with midfielder Ryan Gravenberch dropping back alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Speaking after the game, Slot revelated Konate felt something, saying: "He felt his quad a bit. Then alarm bells go off with me.
“If the game had gone on like this I would have made the change a bit later but did not want to take the risk.
“It wasn't a coincidence when Ryan (Gravenberch) started to play there we started getting more and more in the game."
