Asked where the win ranks, Andrews said: "Well, I haven't had many games as a manager, so I would say pretty high.

"Yeah, look, I know what's been said about me as a manager, blah, blah, blah, but I am very proud.

"It's still pretty fresh, but that's what I would take away from the game and the performance. Just proud of what we produced against a talented set of players."

On the switch of systems, Andrews explained: "I thought going to a back four gave us a better base to build through midfield.

"Better passing opportunities and fluidity through the midfield. And if you have a team trying to push onto you and you can take advantage of the space left behind them, we have the players who can do that.

"I thought we had a nice balance of maintaining control and then enticing them (onto us) where we could break and hurt them.

"The courage and conviction of the players was really good, with and without the ball."

On two-goal Igor Thiago, Andrews said: "Selfless. That's how I'd describe his performance. He's such a team player. He's getting rhythm and confidence in his game. He's now showing why the club brought him here 16 months ago.

"He's a real centre-forward. As we saw the type of goals he scored. Just pure desire."
