Eriksen has been linked with a return to former club Ajax, but Kroes told AD: "No (we won't sign), we have plenty of confidence to take the next step. Let's all make sure that we work calmly and hard, and that we put the pieces together with a clear vision."
Ajax has received criticism for Jordan Henderson not being replaced properly after his move to Sunderland.
"I understand the criticism, but we couldn't bring in all the players we wanted because we also have to find a balance between financial and sporting interests," Kroes added.
