Following an internal audit into the 60-year-old’s tenure, the French club have filed a complaint alleging serious financial misconduct and the misuse of corporate assets.
According to RMC Sport, Lyon and parent company Eagle Football Group have filed a complaint against ‘persons unknown.’
Although he’s not explicitly named, the complaint is believed to be aimed at Textor due to suspicious financial transactions amounting to several hundred million euros.
The official statement following the internal audit detailed massive irregularities across the multi-club network.
"The report also highlights financial flows of several hundred million euros which appear to have been made without economic justification, moreover in a context marked by serious cash flow problems and delays in the payment of social security contributions,” it read.
