The Brazil striker has joined OL on-loan for the remainder of the season from Real Madrid.
Govou told Le Progres: "Regarding the transfer market, I've heard the coach would like a striker, a centre-back, and two or three midfielders. But when a machine works well, you have to be careful, because it can go out of control very quickly.
"Would a striker who scores more goals be as defensively efficient as (Martin) Satriano? I only believe in the winter transfer market when you need to replace an injured player.
"I'm not sure it's always good for the team's balance. No one has enough reference points to know what Endrick is capable of , even if he's necessarily a good player.
"But be careful, for a player who never plays, there's often a problem behind it. Endrick will have individual goals that may not match the team's collective goals, and that's what bothers me."
