Second head coach follows Xabi out of Real Madrid

While Xabi Alonso took the headlines with his dismissal on Monday, it's also been announced that Real Madrid C coach Joselu has also been axed.

Joselu has been removed over concerns about how the Real C team fits into the club's development path.

Real only re-introduced the C team two years ago, having disbanded the project eight years previous.

Real C play in the Segunda Federación – Group 5 and is seen as a bridge between the U18 team and Castilla.
