It's been revealed the midfielder and Real Madrid reached terms over a deal to 2030 during the summer, but remains unsigned.
Local journalist Antonio Meana reported on Cadena SER: "The agreement to extend his contract until 2030 is finalised. The club wants discretion, and his entourage wants to respect the agreement.
"It was a quick and easy negotiation, with the player actively involved. The deal was agreed upon before last summer. Real Madrid hasn't confirmed the renewal, and I'm concerned that it's not yet signed, because Brahim has offers from Europe and Saudi Arabia.
"Brahim wants to play more, contribute more, be more important, and have the same opportunities as everyone else, not be a substitute or forgotten by default.
"With (Carlo) Ancelotti, he would have accumulated over 800 minutes by this point, while with Xabi Alonso he hasn't even reached 500, even though he continues to shine in the Africa Cup of Nations."
