On the pitch, Mbappe has had an incredible season, scoring 41 goals and providing six assists in his 42 games across all competitions.
Off it, things haven’t been so rosy. Most recently, the 27-year-old seemed to have a pop at manager Alvaro Arbeloa following their 2-0 La Liga win over Real Oviedo.
Mbappe claimed that Arbeloa didn’t play him because the manager told him he is now their “fourth choice striker”, which Arbeloa disputes.
According to Diario AS, president Perez is set to have a serious sit down with Mbappe over his recent behaviour.
Perez lauded Mbappe as Real Madrid’s best player in his bizarre press conference, but insisted that ‘no one is irreplaceable.’
