For Pellegrini, a former Real Madrid coach himself, the decision makes little sense.
He said, "Evaluating a project in just four months is incorrect.
"I don't have all the inside information on why this decision was made. Every process takes time, and as a coach you can only rely on the maturity of the management to understand how long a project will last."
The Chilean also stated: "Every process has its own timeframe, and this must be respected."
