The 22-year-old is now in a race against time to be fit for their La Liga opener against Osasuna on August 19th after picking up an ankle injury.
Camavinga missed several training sessions, including one on Sunday morning, and is now a doubt for the team’s last pre-season friendly with Austrian side Tirol on Tuesday.
The severity of the Frenchman’s injury remains unclear, but according to The Athletic, it’s the type of injury he could take weeks to recover from.
He made just 35 appearances across all competitions for Real Madrid last season, with four separate injuries ruling him out for a total of 159 days throughout 2024-25.
