Barcelona thank family as superkid Ziani signs new deal

Courted by Europe's biggest clubs, Ziani has penned terms this week with Barca.

Born in Spain to a Moroccan father and Spanish mother, this 16-year-old forward has already represented the Moroccan U16 and U17 national teams.

Despite this, La Roja isn't giving up and continues to show interest in encouraging him to play for their youth teams. 

Barca announced on Friday morning: "The player Ismael Ziani has signed a contract renewal to extend his stay in his youth team.

"Thank you, Ziani-López family, for choosing La Masia to develop your son as a player and as a person."
