Antony was seen arguing with traveling Betis fans after the 2-2 draw, with the Brazilian having scored on the night.
He said, "These have been very difficult days. As I've said many times, I play with sacrifice, even with pain in my groin and adductor.
"I'd had a fever for three days, but I will always sacrifice myself for Betis. I didn't tell everyone I had a fever so they wouldn't see that as an excuse. I know what I've been through, I'm fine, improving. When I put on the Betis shirt, I always want to be at 100%."
On the match, Antony also said: "It was a very difficult match; we played a very good first half. We left feeling very sad and frustrated with this draw, but we have to move on.
"We know how important this derby was; we have many matches ahead of us. It was very tough and difficult, but we have to turn the page because we have many objectives ahead."
