The Blues lost a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Leeds United in their most recent clash in the Premier League and will hope to bounce back as they head back up North to face Liam Rosenior’s old side.

However, Chelsea are without a number of key players including goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen (other) and a handful of defenders in Levi Colwill (knee) Marc Cucurella (thigh), Oluwatosin Adarabioyo (thigh), Reece James (illness).

Chelsea have secured seven wins from 10 matches across all competitions heading into their FA Cup tie. Rosenior’s side look stronger than ever at the moment as they chase down their first piece of silverware under his leadership.

Further up the pitch, Rosenior will have to deal without Romeo Lavia (thigh), Dario Luis Essugo (other) and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (thigh) as he relies on the likes of Moises Caicedo and Estevao to fill the gaps.

Despite Chelsea’s flexible squad, it won’t be an easy test, as Hull are enjoying a fine season under Sergej Jakirovic and sit fourth in the Championship with 15 games of the season left.

Rosenior says he'll be treating the game like he would a Champions League or Premier League game in what should be an exciting challenge for both sides.
