Defeat in the Europa League to FC Midtjylland left Postecoglou winless in his first six games, which makes him the first permanent manager in 100 years to experience such results.
After the 3-2 loss, the Australian said: “Yes, I do (believe results will come). Nothing I saw tonight changes any of that.
“I get the mood around the place isn’t going to be great. I understand people’s attitude at the moment, particularly towards me, but I never worry about that. It’s not unfamiliar territory for me.
“I really believe we’re on the right track and I really believe when we get through this period of uncertainty we’ll be on a good path. I firmly believe that will happen.”
He added, "It's a really poor outcome from us. It was an important night for many reasons and similar tale, us letting ourselves down in key moments and having a mountain to climb.
"If you allow the opportunity to score every time they get near your goal, it's going to be hard to win games of football."
