The 22-year-old arrives for a reported €3 million as Les Verts continue to strengthen their squad ahead of another push for promotion to Ligue 1 after missing out last season.
Despite uncertainty surrounding the futures of key players Lucas Stassin and Zuriko Davitashvili, Saint-Etienne have underlined their ambition by securing Breum on a contract until June 2030.
The attacking midfielder will wear the No.10 shirt after enjoying a productive spell in the Netherlands, where he made 105 appearances, scored 20 goals and provided 17 assists following his 2023 arrival.
Breum also featured in the UEFA Europa League last season. He becomes Saint-Étienne’s second summer signing after Sohaib Nair joined from EA Guingamp.
