Manchester United star Benjamin Sesko has praised Casemiro after his recent performance against Brentford.

As he enters his final few games in a United shirt ahead of his departure at the end of this season, Casemiro certainly isn’t giving up as he pushes the side towards Champions League football.

The Brazilian scored his eighth goal of the season against Brentford, proving his worth under interim manager Michael Carrick once more which will only make his departure harder to take this summer.

The 34-year-old is a real leader under Carrick and speaking after collecting 3 points, Sesko praised the veteran who he thinks is essential to the club’s recent revival.

"He's a working machine," said Sesko. "What he's putting on the pitch is unbelievable. You need someone like this.

"Unfortunately, he's leaving, but we are pleased we can manage him until the last minute in the game and we're going to use him.

“The way you look at him, it’s very important, you know? And I think you can be stupid if you don’t look at him and try to be like him when it comes to the work-rate and stuff and I think everyone is pleased that he is here.”

Sesko, who scored his 10th Premier League goal of the season on Monday helped United to edge closer to a top-three finish for only the fifth time in 13 seasons since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
