Haaland struck in the 2-0 triumph to become the fastest in Champions League history to reach 50 goals.
"He seems to break every record going,” the England international said on TNT Sports.
“At his age as well, it’s unheard of what he’s done. I don’t think anyone’s going to break the records he’s going to break if he carries on playing the way he is.
“The first half was a bit frustrating, I wasn’t getting many touches between the lines due to how well they were keeping tight in midfield.
“But I knew in the second half when the game opened up a little bit there would be that one or two chances where I can maybe turn on the ball.
“I managed to turn on the ball and it’s something we’ve worked on in training. Erling is always going to be that runner.
“I already know he’s there before I even play the ball so it’s just about getting that connection and trying to do it again now and hopefully he can score more goals and I can assist.”
