Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has pleaded with his side to not hand Arsenal any set pieces ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash.

Kane has 15 goals in 21 games in all competitions against the Gunners and leads the way for opposition players to score at the Emirates Stadium with six goals.

However, the England captain is more worried about Wednesday’s opposition, who have scored 39 goals across all competitions, with 12 of those coming from set pieces.

Avoid set pieces!

Kane has pleaded with his side to be cautious heading into the clash as they try to avoid handing manager Mikel Arteta and his side any opportunities.

"Of course, I follow the Premier League. Arsenal have done well so far in that department. We've prepared for Arsenal as usual.

“The best thing will be to not give them any set pieces, to control the game - and we need to defend better than we have recently when we do concede set pieces."

Arsenal will be a tough test

The veteran also suggested the trip to the Emirates will be his side's biggest challenge yet in what is the fiercest clash of the Champions League fixtures on Wednesday night. He commented on Arsenal and their tactics which he has clearly followed closely.

"It will be the toughest game, I think," he added. "Obviously, PSG was a really tough game, but us and PSG play in a similar way, and it became almost a man-to-man battle in the first half. It was one of the best halves we've played all season.

"(Arsenal) will be a little bit different. I think Arsenal are really good at some of the stuff that we're good at in terms of the habits, second balls, not taking as much risk, good on set-plays, all things that make you a top team.

"It'll be a difficult night and probably our hardest game yet, and it'll be interesting to test ourselves."
