Arsenal secured a statement Champions League victory on Wednesday night as they picked apart Bayern 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in front of a home crowd whose European hopes only grew even more.
The Gunners made their intentions clear to their European competitors as they sent shock waves around Europe as they aim to win their first ever Champions League.
This was Bayern’s first defeat of the season, which says a lot about the German side's dominance so far this year. After the game, Kane revealed that he hopes his side meets Arsenal again and called for his team to remain calm about the poor result.
"It was a tough game, which is kind of what we expected. It was a good battle in the first half, which was fairly even.
"Second half we didn’t quite have the same energy or intensity, and we lost too many duels. It's our first loss of the season.
"We don't want to panic too much about it. But we will learn about it for sure.
"They defended man for man pretty much all over the pitch. As I said, I don't think it's time to panic. We have played Chelsea, and Paris St-Germain and Arsenal away. We have won the majority of our games."
Second-half goals from Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli fired the Gunners to all three points, and manager Mikel Arteta and his side face off against title challengers Chelsea at the weekend in what should be a clash to remember.
Meanwhile, Bayern meet FC St. Pauli as they aim to continue their unbeaten start to the Bundesliga season, which sees them top of the league by some distance.
