Despite their domestic struggles, Spurs are within one point of the top eight places, which guarantee an automatic ticket to the last 16 as they face Dortmund, a side who they trail by one place due to goals scored.
Can Frank win fan support back?
Frank is under serious pressure at the moment and reports claim he could be sacked if the result on Tuesday night does not go his way.
Questions centred around his future as he was first asked what he knows about the discussions that have taken place at board level over recent days.
"I've just been, how can you say, feeling the trust along the way. I've said that every press meeting. I had lunch with Nick (Lange), Vinai (Venkatesham) and Johan today, and it was all good. All part of the media circus and I can only think about winning against Dortmund."
Can Frank win supporters back? He believes so but admits he must start winning games or faith may drop even lower in North London.
"As I have said many times, as long as we win football matches and make sure we win enough of them - everyone will support us. It is not about me. It is about supporting the team, the players.
"We need everyone to support us from minute one. Especially the team, especially the players. If we get that support, anything can happen. Magic can happen."
Pushed further for a more detailed response he said: "The reality is not everyone will like you."
How does Frank cope with the scrutiny?
A loss for Tottenham could mean the end for Frank despite positive talks between him and the board this week. Fans are crying out for change as the side continue to underperform and Frank was next asked how he deals with so much criticism.
"If your back is against the wall, you fight. I am energetic and I fight. It is not about me, we need to win football matches and we need to do that together.
"We are ready and focused on the game together and the players look good."
Solanke returns
Finally, questions eased on Frank's future as he lastly moved on to the club, making use of a UEFA rule that allows a team to bring in a squad substitute if a player has been ill or injured for 60 days. Mathys Tel replaced the injured Dominic Solanke, but Solanke is now back in the side as he is fit and ready to go against Dortmund.
"I made the decision. It was not a nice decision to have to make, but unfortunately that is football.
"The way the rules are, the only option was Dom or Mathys and I chose Dom because - I think Mathys has done very well the last couple of games and if I could pick from all the players he would start tomorrow, but I can only choose between the two of them. It's a tough one for Mathys, but he is not in the squad tomorrow."
