Di Canio told La Repubblica: "It was like Godzilla versus King Kong.
"Strong, agile creatures, attacking each other without calculation, with constant twists and turns. Bayern looked to be 5-2 down, but they recovered and deserved the draw."
On the defending, the Italian shrugged: "But what were they supposed to do? It's a 1970s way of thinking.
"We think we're the defensive wizards, then Bayern scores 10 goals in two games against Atalanta, PSG scores five against Inter.
"We're just jealous."
